I agree with Gary Wills that Pope Francis should not canonize John Paul 11.
If Pope Francis succeeds in reforming the Vatican Curia, that will be a major accomplishment.
The issue of the full equality of women in the church including ordination will not go away! The international Roman Catholic Women Priests Movement is leading the way to model a non-hierarchical, egalitarian, inclusive model that is one with the people in grassroots communities.
